This is a commissioned privacy screen for a backyard space in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Working with OSO Planning + Design we created a hand woven and embellished piece that was inspired by the clients beautiful gardens. There was an emphasis to create something that would not interfere with the natural landscape so I choose to use wool that will fade and age with time and dyed it with natural dyes, creating an earthy palette. This is an experimental method of outdoor coverings so we're curious to watch it age and change over the years. Made in 2022.
